Scheming bitch hides a big murder (this is not a movie review)

This is not a film review, it's a personal impression

This is another film that I don’t understand very much after watching it, and I might not understand it after watching it many times.

The two heroines are small. Lily and Amanda.

To put it simply, Lily is a "scheming bitch", there are a lot of duplicity (too many, I won't repeat it), and the characteristics she showed at the beginning are not the real her (we can call it "adult hypocrisy" ). And Amanda is a person who does whatever she wants, she said she has no feelings. That's why Amanda told Lily that you should face your feelings, otherwise you will be perverted.

Amanda has the ability to quickly catch what people want most, so he soon knew that Lily would kill her stepfather first. why? Because his stepfather is a masculine man with crazy fitness. However, his stepfather is very rich. The problem between Lily and stepfather is contradictory, inseparable but incompatibility. (In the bridge section of the question, it is said that if there is a "contradiction" in the multiple-choice question, then this is correct, it should be a hint of the problem).

I personally feel that Amanda likes Lily, so Lily has many questions, and Amanda tries her best to help. On the other hand, Lily is actually using Amanda, consciously or unconsciously. Do things she wants to do but dare not do, such as killing her stepfather. Of course, Lily didn't admit it, she said I didn't use technique.

Lily knows Amanda very well and also understands Amanda's feelings for her, so in the end she even played a bitter trick to accomplish her biggest goal. Scheming bitch, killer!

What I didn’t quite understand was why she cried at the end. Amanda was already in a coma. Who would she cry for? Give yourself the only conscience in your heart? ? Or since I was going to act, I believed in the act, believing that I had no choice but to do so?

Amanda: [Amanda's voice reading her letter to the audience] I'm Honeymooner, and I'm dying. And I rise out of my body, and I'm staring down at our whole suburb, and time is speeding up. And I see generations of people coming, and going, and building bigger houses. And then eventually... the people start spending more and more of their time staring at their smartphones. And soon enough, they're forgetting to clean their houses, or mow their lawns, or eat. And eventually all the houses rot and collapse, and the people disappear, vanishing completely into the Internet. And then... and this is the really beautiful part, the horses take over. And the whole suburb is just beautiful thoroughbred stallions with no owners and no memory of owners and no way of knowing how expensive they are, just mating and galloping through the ruins.

    Tim: What did it say?

Lily: I don't know. I just threw it away.

  • Tim: You know, the thing about this town is, the sawdust smells fantastic. But you are still in a hamster cage.
