What do you say about this movie?
If it weren't for the barrage of spoilers, it would be a big reversal, and I might really not be able to stick to it.
The early part of the story is a regular American horror movie. The world is end of the world. In order to avoid monsters, the protagonist's father, mother, and youngest daughter Zoe, the family had to hide in a secret radiation refuge and survived by eating various cans.
From the beginning, the mother found her daughter under the bed, until the family accidentally caused an indoor fire after hitting rats. After the fire, the dust attracted the attention of the "breathing monsters" and finally found their family. This whole episode can be said to be very boring except for a few scare points. Since I watched it on a computer, I skipped over some of the less important plots, and it still did not affect my understanding of the story. content.
The climax of the plot is the reversal stage. As I watched the barrage beforehand and was passed through by the drama, it can be said that it is not unexpected, but it has been awaited for a long time. Because the content of spoilers is actually very small, I am looking forward to how this reversal happened.
It turned out that the process of reversal was indeed beyond my expectation. But when you think about it carefully, the movie has already hinted at such a result. Rule 3 must ensure that oneself is not lost. For example, father tells his daughter that we are not animals (monsters?) and cannot be like animals. These will be reversed and buried later. A certain foreshadowing.
Finally, my evaluation is Samsung. This big reversal of the plot is indeed very interesting, but the previous plot is indeed a bit boring, even a bit old-fashioned, for example, the daughter accidentally caused her doll to make a weird noise. Pay attention to "breathing monsters", these are basically common routines in American horror movies.
Of course, boring is only for me personally. Just as someone in the barrage when I watched the movie said that the previous plot was very exciting, and the acting skills of the leading role, including the little girl, were very good, so these are different opinions!
