One is the shot of Garbo laughing in the restaurant. It is indeed artificial and ugly, and it lasts too long. Furthermore, that damn hat, which is said to be designed by Garbo, was ugly.
In addition, the Garbo Huayi scene in the cafe was a bit too long and involved, which weakened the effect. The final shortcoming is the handling of the ending. In fact, it is possible to get a beautiful ending in Paris. Go back to Moscow and come back again. The design is verbose and ingenious. If the film is controlled within 90 minutes, the smooth surname will be much better. The long-winded ending and the excessive teasing of ideology are somewhat divorced and unnecessary from the main theme of the film.
The most fascinating thing is the cool Garbo in the first half, which is in place and appropriate. As well as Billy Wilder's lines, many places are wise.
