An accident

I spent 3 years in the game Bawang.
At first I watched this movie for this game.
I think, take a look at the film to cherish the memory of my wasted youth.
But soon my attention shifted from the game screen in the movie to Ben's focus on the plot.
To be honest, I was aggrieved by what I saw in the first few dozen minutes.
Because I have a younger brother who is similar to or not as good as ben.
Or too many years ago, people are still addicted to the Internet and can't extricate themselves. Not as good as ben.

What a good movie.
The director's handling after ben and MM bid farewell at the train station has reached the limit.
All of a sudden, the depressed mood in people's desires, which is desired but not obtained, is perfectly deduced.
Look at my discomfort, but I still want to see it.
The final suspended animation I think the script is too jumpy.
Perhaps too many people will only use the death of XX to awaken people's consciousness.
Too much calling for this kind of humane treatment.

But will anyone bully Ben in the future?
Will MM meet ben again?
Will ben continue the game?

We don't know it, just silent hope.
Don't be bullying these disadvantaged groups.
I just hope
ben can be with MM. . . . . .

In the virtual world, we were all satisfied. Have been happy.
But, who knows whether that is really satisfying, really happy.

Or we should be like ben, let the virtual and reality intersect to enrich ourselves.

This film can be regarded as a pseudo-documentary about autism in form. There seem to be two interpretations of whether the amazing ending that revealed the whole big deception and fooled family, friends, classmates, teachers, and even the audience is true. I tend to think that Ben committed suicide at the train station, and the rest of the content is all imagining that he can be reborn. Scarlett doesn't save the book (there's only one drink on the table), and there's something odd about what her mother says on TV at the end.

In fact, the director cruelly made a tragic ending lyrical. We thought that the child was comfortable. Then he happily went to you tube to see other children who were spoofed.

Ben X quotes

  • [first lines]

Ben: [voiceover] It's hard to explain. It's hard to explain myself. But I never tell lies. Everything I say is true, even when I don't say a thing.

  • Ben: It is high time to become who you are.
