Well, this movie actually is a movie on grow-up of teenagers of the human being, not on animals, although at the end of the movie, the subtitle told the audience: Animals saved thousand of lives during World War II, the highest medal for animal bravery is the Dickin Medal, of the 54 Dickin Medal awarded for the war, 18 went to dogs, 3 to horses, 1 to a cat, and 32 to pigeons. --This is not a movie on pigeons at all. The movie focuses on the growing up of a young guy who decided to be a great man. He met with a very good opportunity when it was World War II. After tough exercises and a real adventure to the battlefield, the young boy transformed himself to a man. So, be prepared to see something familiar, this is a story about how a weak boy becomes a true man.
