There is still no taste after repeated chewing

Some movies can move me, some can't. This movie may be a good movie. The double midlife crisis in career and family may be a hurdle that many men are doomed to avoid. They come quietly to crush the dream of youth and make people lose their direction in life in tossing and turning. The stagnation of the career may be terrible but not fatal, but the disharmony of the family can crush a man invisible.

Middle-aged men need to recognize themselves more clearly. When you are young, recognize that you will have a bright future. After middle age, recognize that you will have a good attitude. For those who fail, including those who are not failing but destined to be mediocre, because their dreams are broken early, they may be able to adjust themselves earlier. For successful people, stagnation for a long time will undoubtedly add fuel to the unstoppable desires. This is especially true for a person who lives in the shadow of his father. It's easy to lose your mind and become crazy. Any straw will be used as an opportunity to change destiny.

I understand this state. But the movie still failed to move me. Maybe it's a bit lengthy, maybe the narrative is too realistic. Real things are often like this, with few touches, but they are consumed in the invisible.

In fact, it is not an inspirational story at all. It is a bit of a failure to tell an inspirational story. It's better to be honest

  • Erik Kernan Jr.: [about Champ] He's not a bum. He's homeless.

Ralph Metz: [after a pause] No, he's a bum.

  • Champ: [Was talking to a boy, and when Kernan drives up, the boy runs off] You scared him off, man. He thought you were the po-lice!
