Don't kidnap music with politics

Seeing the first half of the film, I thought it was a wonderful work, but the more twists and turns the plot progressed, the more tired I felt. At the end, the feelings have disappeared.

If this is a historical documentary reflecting the lives of Soviet Russian art workers, its depth needs to be explored. If this is an inspirational film that shows "there is music everywhere in life", then it is bound by too many things that do not belong to the work itself. The only line that touched me in this movie was: "Andre, you selfish person, you only live in one world." That's it. A concert is a concert, not a mutual aid group for mental illness, let alone a family search show. Only dedicated to Tchaikovsky.

Perhaps the director is trying his best to express his indestructible yearning for the highest state of art in his humble and cruel life, but what is this yearning for? Music is just a clue in this movie, a coat, take it off, what is the difference between Andre’s obsession and Ivan’s obsession? Where is the harmony that he keeps talking about?

Loyalty can be a virtue or a disease. The beauty is not such persistence, but the reason for persistence. If it appears in front of your eyes with a very clear outline, a dance of a thousand hands, or a palace in the flow, or a pair of wings, which encloses you and you will be breathless, then this kind of persistence is a matter of course. . However, if this persistence is for a salvation, then please do not use music to express your tragic and vigorousness. Because fate swept everyone, music is not enough to take up the important task of paying tribute to them.

In the last twelve minutes of the music, the illogical plot of a perfect performance without rehearsal at all is really staggering. Of course, the design of miracle and soul communication is understandable in the movie, but after all, this is a symphony orchestra and not a soloist. Even after arriving in Paris, it is a miracle to rehearse only once. The final performance turned out to be on-site performance, how can he be so demanding of God.

Although the meticulous editing is very hard and reflects the director's superb skills, it has greatly destroyed the experience of the music itself. Although the story of Ann Marie's tragic life and the success of the orchestra afterwards coincided in rhythm, it had nothing to do with the emotions expressed by music. It's not that the picture is expressing music, but the music is foiling the screen, and it's also the cheap foil of supermarket background music. After watching the movie, I don't even understand why we must choose Chai Xiaoxie to play. Is it just because Tchaikovsky is Russian and the plot requires a violin concerto.

In short, no matter whether the masters and artists finally reach the highest state of harmony with their wings, I am definitely not. The trivial dust that drowned the music was still entangled at the end. It turned into a destiny, dragged the wings and let it stick to the ground. How I wish it could be loosened for at least the ten minutes of playing, but it refused. The political persecution has been chased all the way from reality to the movie. This time it is not ideologically brutal, but through a carefully conceived story, which grabs the neck of the music.

I can't accept some of the scary things in the movie; PS: The "Peternov Theater" in the words of the shooter is a false translation. "большой театр" should mean "Grand Theater".

What is unknown is that Jews were still persecuted by the Communist Party after World War II, and the fate of many people was changed because of this. They were supposed to be artists but were living among the poor. The movie didn't reach its climax until the last fifteen minutes, but it didn't mean that the previous foreshadowing was meaningless. The foreshadowing was too long, so I was particularly moved at the end. I don't know Chai Le or violin, but I was moved to tears. The country abandons us and the lover abandons us but the music does not.
