Floating for a night

Few films can't sleep after watching them. I drank too much last night, and I was lying on the bed and flipped through the film in the mobile phone "portable theater". I was very tired, and soon fell asleep to the sound of music. After the family dinner tonight, I always feel that something is still up, so I will find this film. But you can't fall asleep.

I don't understand movies. So I still don’t know whether the documentary has some basic paths or procedures. Do you use reality to project abstraction, or use abstract means to metaphor reality? But this kind of habitual thinking inspired by the narrative of the camera was quickly obliterated, and the power of pure life experience intervened and substituted, so that I had no time to do it again. I couldn't help being moved inexplicably again and again, and tears overflowed my eyes.

The subconscious is of course still subconscious. In the collision of plain statement and perceptual music, history is stretched and thickened, just like itself. Outside, there seemed to be dancing with the love of cholera, the earl on the tree, and the lonely shadows of the Vallejos.

Can let the lonely take the place, allowing it to be called art. There is no time to think about the reality of life inside and outside.

[May 19, 2019 - China Film Archive - "Wenders Film Special Retrospective"] The director's thinking and editing are very smooth. Brazilian music, football, cigars are indeed innate genes.

After the filming, the director said that his original plan was to make a music documentary, but when he edited it, he realized that it was actually a "fairy tale", or that such shooting verified the occurrence of fairy tales in front of him and recorded the reality/truth in the film. The line between /objective and fictional/narrative is really blurry.
