This is an animated film that starts to be easy and funny, but makes you cry at the end, and can't be calm for a long time. I feel sad for the civet cat, blame myself for the mankind, and deeply feel the importance of environmental protection. A Studio Ghibli movie I like very much, and I am still very impressed. When I first saw it, I was completely attracted by the optimistic and cute civet cats. The scene when the two civet cats were fighting was really cute. The atmosphere becomes heavier as the movie goes forward. The destruction of nature by humans causes the civet cat to counterattack helplessly, but it ultimately fails. When Tanuki turned Tokyo back into the mountains in the last battle, I really couldn’t help crying.
