Although the plot is boring, people who say that watching it is a waste of time are also too arbitrary. The focus of the movie is not the personal fate of a call girl, otherwise it will be made into a drama. The semi-documentary form of this film actually highlights the anxiety of the entire American middle-class society in the financial crisis. People who have long been objectified seek the comfort of call girls in this anxiety, but she herself faces the same anxiety. As a result, people comfort each other, and the basis of this comfort is the perishable money and the fragile body of youth that cannot give people a sense of security. In the final shot, when the charming body is embraced, what we see is a deep despair, despair that cannot be comforted with anything.
