The devil's deal is actually an old legend in Mississippi. Legend has it that this guy who lived only 27 years and was called "the most important blues musician of all time" by eric clapton, came to a crossroad near Dockery Plantation by himself at midnight and met a big black man by chance. (Devil), this big guy took his piano, played a few tunes and exchanged it with johnson, so he got a mysterious power that enabled him to play distinctive blues music, and at the price the devil wanted Gone his soul.
