In 1977, the American sports journalist Hunter S. Thompson wrote the book "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" about his experience covering motorcycle races with his lawyers. The interesting thing about this journalist and writer is that he believes that news writing can only reflect the truth through subjective writing. He opposes objective reporting. The more novel, the more news. "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" became a classic reading of the hippie era in the 60s and 80s.

In 1998, Terry Gilliam said that the book was arranged into a movie. Like this book, it is not about motorcycle racing (the lens does not exceed 2 minutes). It is used to describe the psychedelic experience of the two guys during Las Vegas: As long as you are awake, you will be drowsy. Perhaps reading the original will help to understand the film.

In 2005, Hunter S. Thompson committed suicide in February 2005.

There is a film and the book on Emule.
