Misnomer

This film was shown several times on many TV stations around 1995. The domestic title is generally "Tank Battle", of course we know that the original name is "Battle of the Bulge". But unfortunately, compared to the real battle of the salient, this film is really a misnomer.
In fact, the problem of props that is commonly criticized by everyone is nothing. We are both tanks and actors. M47 Patton will play the Tiger King. It is estimated that George will be very angry in the underground. Why use the tank named after me to play the German army? Use M24 Xiafei to play Sherman. Anyway, they are not the real Tiger King and Sherman, just play it. However, the German armored unit is just one unit which makes no sense.

The real problem comes from the fact that the film's portrayal of war is too young. It doesn't look like professional soldiers are fighting, but gangs equipped with heavy weapons are fighting. In my opinion, the main problem is as follows: The
battle of the Bulge, Nazi Germany mobilized the last offensive force to devote all their strength to a decisive offensive.

There was no tactics on both sides of the battle. The German troops had no reconnaissance, no artillery fire, and almost no infantry. It was just a few tanks in the Zhutu.
The front of the US army does not even have a trench. Facing the attack of the German armored forces, it actually relies on stones and trees for defense. There is nothing in foxholes! !
Too much depreciation of the combat effectiveness of the U.S. armored forces, it actually depends on sacrificing oneself to consume the fuel of the German armored forces, is there any mistake? Sherman is not as good as the leopards and tigers, but it is not a truck, and the Germans are not all leopards and tigers. Let alone the Tiger King, besides, the reliability of the German tanks is not good, why the suddenness of the battle is not mentioned.
The battle scene is too small, it feels like a German army is fighting, and there is no coordination at all.
The poor 101st Airborne Division was ignored and
exaggerated the influence of the German army in disguise. Wartime rumors were not clarified by 1966.
The final battle for the oil depot was too trivial.

Although in 1995, the film left me a deep impression, the memories are beautiful, and it once prompted me to want to draw a comic by myself, but now, the film is far from many classic World War II battle films, and the gap is still not small.
