Possibility of Pippa

At the end of the film, Pippa had a so-called elopement. The psychological description of her in the book is: But I feel a new and unfamiliar story is unfolding in my heart. I don’t know what it will be, and I will. What role to play in it, my heart is full of fear and happiness.

The 50-year-old Pippa once again fled her existing life. Just like she had fled her parents, she suddenly decided to leave. Perhaps what she was looking forward to was the 35-year-old innocent man, but not at all. I know, obviously a bit of a bluff. In the 30 years of getting rid of the nanny puppet, Pippa always has an expression that is too calm. Her mystery cannot be easily judged. A little carelessness will make people doubt whether or not. She is too stupid for Pippa to be understood. She has set herself to play a mysterious role from the beginning. With such a life strategy, the possibility of changing roles is extremely low.

Pippa's fear is actually daily, and the audience has nothing to be excited about.

This is a good point of view, but it’s a pity that the film is a bit superficial, and it’s a waste of big names.

Really just looked at Keanu on the poster, even though he was only a supporting role. I almost vomited when I saw BlakeLively in the movie, the whole thing was just like the trash in GossipGirl, no difference *rolls your eyes*. But that aside, the character of Pippa Lee is a very interesting woman who lives her life to seem like she's successful and then she's a failure.

The Private Lives of Pippa Lee quotes

  • Pippa Lee: [after leaving hospital where her adulterous husband who wanted a divorce has been declared brain-dead, she is sitting in bed with Chris, eating french fries after having climbed through his window] So... it's official, nobody needs me anymore.

  • Pippa Lee: What made you lose your faith?

Chris Nadeau: I just stopped believing God was a mystery you could nail down with one book.
