The beauty of the soul transcends all

Hedgehogs, seemingly lazy and unassuming, always live in the world of self alone, but they also have their own elegance. Sharp insight and inner richness are the way you see the world. You understand it well, but it doesn't matter if you don't. You can stay away from right and wrong, have a small corner to live in, and live quietly. Lonely, but do not give up the pursuit of happiness; not beautiful, but have a kind heart; poor, but not poor; quiet, but not arrogant. . . This is probably the elegance that belongs to the hedgehog.

The Hedgehog quotes

  • Paloma Josse: Planning to die doesn't mean I let myself go like a rotten vegetable. What matters isn't the fact of dying or when you die. It's what you're doing at that precise moment.

  • Renée Michel: Happy families are all alike.

Kakuro Ozu: Every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.

    [Quoting from Tolstoy's 'Anna Karenina']
