The earliest Sophie Marceau in The First Kiss brought back memories of my youth.
When my son was his age, I went to the movies for the first time with a girl, and the best girl in my class watched "Black Tulip". I just watched a movie, didn't hold hands, didn't even kiss for the first time, didn't even say a word, and sent her home after watching it.
Since then, I have sent her home every day. For no reason, I just think she is beautiful and charming. I am very happy to be by her side. Even the best buddies can't pull me away.
I remember the only thing I ever told her was the last time I saw her that year. It was dusk and the wind was a bit strong. I stood downstairs at her house and told her that I was going to study abroad. I don’t know when I will be back. She was surprised, her eyes faded for the first time and stayed on my face for a long time. When she woke up, she took out a horn comb from her schoolbag, combed her hair a few times against the wind, and then gave the comb to me.
When I came back a year later, she moved with her parents to another city. I forgot what year I lost the horn comb and the long hair on it, I just remember that the first tape I bought since I had a VCR was "Black Tulip" and I watched it so many times until it was degaussed .
I met her again on the train 20 years later. It was the cry of the child that drew me to her bunk. Her expression was exactly the same as that evening. She didn't know how to introduce me to her husband. She exaggeratedly coaxed me. With the child, to ease the embarrassing atmosphere. I didn't feel uncomfortable, shook hands with her husband, took the couple's business card, and said a lot of polite words.
Now that another 20 years is almost over, I have never called the number on my business card.
In this way, nothing happened between me and her, and our youth is not as presumptuous as in the movie. But I decided that was my first love, and I couldn't deny its existence just because nothing happened, that would be tantamount to betrayal. Perhaps the first love of the vast majority of people in our time was just a psychological activity, and nothing would happen.
