He brings me pain, but wants me to sing back?

A movie that I don't like very much.

Most of the movie is about the self-salvation of a bastard father, and the plot is very blunt. A terrible father who was not involved in raising children and cheated on his wife. He pretended to be sick because of bankruptcy and no place to live and his ex-wife’s nectar possessiveness. He pretended to be ill and pretended to make up for his children. In the end, the ex-wife and the children forgave him. It's far-fetched.

Recently, I particularly like the lyrics sung by singer Yu Zhen in "The New Generation of Rap": "The world kisses me with pain, but wants me to write a song for it. I use my life to write a song for it, a war song. You. Just listen, and don’t listen.” This is the attitude of daring to love and hate.

Even if there is a blood relationship, if we have never treated ourselves nicely, why should we treat each other with courtesy and write a song for them? For those who make us miserable, the real spine way is to write a war song!

With a plain, colorful and fresh image and narrative, it shows the multiple aspects of the family's interpersonal relationship. The pain is no longer as sharp and understanding is possible, but it is more profound than the ordinary small and fresh. This may be Wes Anderson's strengths.

I think the rhythm is a bit weird, and the paragraphs are divided into sections without knowing why, and the story doesn’t make any difference in the home of a child who is not a genius. . . . The director's personal style is very strong

The Royal Tenenbaums quotes

  • Chas: Looks like you and Dad are back together again, huh.

Richie: He's your dad too, Chas.

    Chas: No, he's not.

    Richie: Yes, he is.

Chas: You really hate me, don't you?

    Richie: No. I don't. I love you.

Chas: Well, I don't know what you think you're gonna get out of this, but believe me, whatever it is, it's not worth it.

Richie: Chas. I don't want to hurt you. I know what you and the boys have been through. You're my brother and I love you.

    Chas: Stop saying that!

  • Richie: I have to tell you something...

    Margot: What's that?

    Richie: I love you.

    Margot: I love you, too.
