Nice!

Just after watching the movie, I went to the bookstore and happened to buy this English novel of the same name, and I accepted it immediately!

To be honest, I always thought that this guy looked and looked like Hugh Grant, but I really didn't see that he was the Roomate in "Notting Hill" with Hugh Grant!

Since I was a child, I knew that drugs are untouchables, how opium makes people become the sick man of East Asia, how drug addicts go bankrupt, etc. The education I received as a child convinced me of this.

The first time I saw the rhetoric defending it legally was in the few books I read about America last year by Linda, which I can't remember. The general idea is to say that marijuana itself is not so harmful, but there is really no way to open this hole in law, because once the opening is opened, other drugs that are really dangerous to society will become difficult to control and manage. So until now, proposals like legalizing marijuana have been debated every year. I don't really understand the specific differences between these drugs, and I regard them as legitimate illegal substances. I was surprised to see this statement for the first time. In this movie, Howard Marks, including the judge personally, doesn't even think the law says it right at this point.

Of course, I also never believe that this big drug lord sells drugs out of some ideal, and everything is just naked interests, just. . . This dude is so cool!

Mr. Nice quotes

  • [Voice over]

Howard Marks: Every time I crossed the border, I'd get a religious flash and an asexual orgasm.

  • Howard Marks: Am I a criminal now?

Judy Marks: If you break a law that's wrong, that can't be a crime. Not in a moral sense. Why is it against the law? Why make something illegal that expands your consciousness, makes you think? Makes you wanna fuck.
