Hold hands, follow the moonlight, and walk together

If you saw the name of the movie, saw the poster, and you didn't know Wes Anderson. You might say: Wife, let’s go, let’s go and watch Joyous. This is the same as the reflection of "The Great Fox Papa" I saw in 2009. But I have to say, the movie made by this guy is really... how to say it allows you to watch the whole movie quietly without other trivial matters. Just like this "Moonrise Kingdom", it feels to me that you are lying on a bed full of moonlight in a quiet night, and your mother is sitting next to you and slowly telling you a bedtime story. This feeling is really comfortable and gentle.

The story takes place on a small island called New Penzance in England. This beautiful island is sparsely populated, avoiding the noise and noise. From the very beginning of the weather, the grandpa's appearance and the naughty background music have probably understood the tone of the film. . Later, the escape incident in the Boy Scout barracks started the journey of the little actor Sam. Canoes, streams, fallen leaves and golden pastures ushered in our little hostess suzy. A pair of adults with serious "problem children" began their journey away from home. On the journey, the two little lovers had extremely simple dialogues and vulgar plots, but they showed that their emotions are so pure and beautiful. Including the last touch of the chest, tongue kisses, things that adults would blush seemed so natural to them. Although one night later, they were still found, separated, and quarantined. But their love is still there, and the humanity of the people on the island is still there. Finally, under their persistent efforts, they came together. Just like at the beginning, the girl looked at the boy with her favorite binoculars, and the boy blew the girl's kiss back downstairs. Their love was as quiet, pure and beautiful as this small island.

In the film industry where commercial films are spreading, this film is like the island inside, very secluded, but very beautiful. We may be numb to our love for adults. Our tall, handsome muscles, and white, rich breasts and hips make the audience's eyeballs bloodshot. But the budding love in this children's world makes us feel that the world before us is refreshing. The director built this film with simple plot and dialogue, as if Anderson was using a thick brush to outline a beautiful painting. But from the acquaintance of Noah's Ark in the locker room to the bottom of Romeo Juliet's window at the beginning, it seemed that it had been spent a lifetime.

I fell in love with Wes Anderson's "The Great Fox Papa", but his live-action movies basically give up halfway through the watch. In fact, it was quite refreshing when it came up, deliberately panning the camera, combined with deliberately classical music, cute boys, embarrassed girls, strange scorpions... It was out of play for Mao to watch it, and he was anxious. Also, what is a primary school chicken?

The elopement of American weird literary and artistic teenagers, exquisite nostalgia, and highly textured yellowed images. Anderson continues his consistent aesthetic photography and exquisite setting, and uses minimalist image language to construct children who are inverted from each other. With people in the world, I looked around a road trip between islands in a de-force atmosphere. Neurotic, weird, but fresh and pleasant. The soundtrack, costume props and even the characters chant with great care, one of the best of the year

Moonrise Kingdom quotes

  • Suzy: It doesn't make me feel very good. I found this on top of our refrigerator.

[Pulls out a book "Coping with the very troubled child"]

    Sam: Does that mean you?

    Suzy: I think so, yeah.

  • Sam: Why do you always use binoculars?

Suzy: It helps me see things closer. Even if they're not very far away. I pretend it's my magic power.

Sam: That sounds like poetry. Poems don't always have to rhyme, you know. They're just supposed to be creative.
