Beetlejuice turned into Batman

1988 American film "Beetlejuice" "The Master of the Underworld": Tim Burton's very early work, as I judged him, the various imaginations of ghosts and talents are displayed in the roughest way, bad taste, comedy Whether it is genius or not, all his classic works afterwards can be found in this movie. The sense of design in the movie is outstanding in the 1980s when B-level movies were rampant. The only regret is that the scale is not large enough. What's interesting is that Michael Keaton, who played Beetlejuice, was extremely ostentatious and trivial in the film (Figure 4), but he was dragged to play Batman by Tim a year later, which was really subversive.

7.5/10, supplementary standard, I saw it a long time ago, and re-read it again, it still feels very novel, whimsical, not scary at all, very funny, very cute, Tim Burton's early works, more recent The works of the past years are more interesting

So nonsense. . . But still feel innocent. Hahaha, what kind of heart does Tim Burton have. . . .

Beetlejuice quotes

Juno: I'm not your coach! He survived!

Very Dumb Football Player: Wait, Coach, let me get something straight. What's our curfew around here?

Juno: Will you get out of here! Go on, get downstairs! "'Men's room!" Are you kidding? Can't you read signs?

  • Beetlejuice: Let's see, business section.

[he flips to the obituary page of a newspaper]

Beetlejuice: Ooh la la. What do we got here? The Maitlands, uh? Cute couple. Look nice and stupid, too.
