A better remake

Not long ago, I finished watching the Japanese Midnight Ring, and then I came back to look at the American version. It felt really good. Visual inspection can get 6-7 points. The film is indeed a suspense movie. So that I saw this movie without the feeling of a horror movie at all.
This film is not the same as Japan’s fear, and it is not good enough in dealing with horror plots. But Rachel's (that is, Lei Jie) reasoning about the tape is very good. A little disappointed the poster super scary (super scary), this movie is not scary at all, Ann, I said it's better than the scary adapted version of horror (just kidding).
All in all, it is a better remake of the movie. Especially since the US version 3 of the Midnight Ring was released recently, it feels inferior to this step of the movie.

The film is neither depressing nor scary, but the suspense atmosphere is very good, the rhythm is tight, and it is very attractive. But I don't quite understand why this little girl is a curse, what is wrong with her, it's impossible for her to be born for no reason and want to harm people. There are too few puzzles in this regard.

Comparing the two versions of Midnight Ring, you can clearly appreciate the difference between Eastern and Western thinking modes: American horror films highlight sound effects, makeup, horror, blood plasma, which are almost all sensory stimulation; Japanese horror films come from atmosphere, expression, darkness, suspense, no Express specific imagery, but mobilize the viewer's imagination. The biggest fear comes from the unknown. In this sense, Japanese horror films are better.
