Typical American "Pride and Prejudice"

From the movie version of 05, the TV drama version of 95 to the movie version of this 40, I think the best is the TV drama version of 95. This version of 40 is really American. In general, it feels a bit too artificial, Jane is not gentle enough, Elizabeth's wisdom is not so vivid, Darcy is too frivolous, and more like a playboy. But Darcy played by Colin, I think I can't surpass it. Generally speaking, in my opinion, I prefer the 95 edition that is faithful to the original and can fully express the characteristics of each person.

The ending is weird, but the heroine likes it more than 9505, still old

Happy ending is the Achilles heel of too many artists of all kinds, and it's the same for this drama. I only like the father and Lady Catherine inside. Wickham and Lydia are more in love than Bentley and Jane, although there is no love in this play.

Pride and Prejudice quotes

  • Mr. Bennet: An unhappy alternative is before you, Elizabeth. Your mother will never see you again if you do not marry Mr. Collins. And I will never see you again if you do.

  • Mr. Bennet: Well, we're hoping Elizabeth can manage to catch a cold of her own and stay long enough to get engaged to Mr. Darcy. Then, if a good snowstorm could be arranged, we'd send Kitty over. But if a young man should happen to be in the house - a young man who likes singing, of course, who can discuss philosophy - Mary could go. Then, if a dashing young soldier in a handsome uniform should appear for Lydia, everything would be perfect, my dear.
