What impressed me the most in the whole film was actually the occasional soundtrack. With Andy Lau's eyes, the elegant image made me fall deeply into his lonely and miserable world. This is a movie of masters' tricks. It doesn't need more fighting scenes, but a battle of wits and courage between high IQs. In the end, I think the police also have feelings of sympathy with the bandits. It doesn't matter who is the police and who is the bandit, who is right and who is wrong.
Director Du is really good at making police and criminal films. Looking forward to his new works!
