Don’t bluff or black, comment on "Big Fish"

I went to see it this afternoon, the 3D version, just finished reading it.

In third-tier cities, the small theater in front of the house, but still occupied nearly one-third of the people-the previous hot "Interstellar" had an attendance rate of 50%. It seems that as long as the momentum can be maintained, "Big Fish" should be fine. The audience is basically in the range of 20-30 years old,

wearing polarized glasses, advertising, black screen, lights out, and the movie opens.

The first image-the 3D effect is unexpectedly good. I thought it was just for raising the fare to collect money, which seems to be a misunderstanding. The production team really made the depth of field, and it really helps to express the scene. Give praise.

Grandma Ruth’s voice sounded, and a group of whales swam past. The rest is not spoiled. I think the beginning of the plot went too fast, and the voice-over quickly introduced the world view. Not giving the audience enough time to integrate into it makes it difficult to substitute emotions. And this problem has always existed from the beginning to the end.

The art and scenes are really amazing. The color scheme and composition are perfect, and they are very distinctive and styled, absolutely superb. Zhang Chun, you are really a genius.

The shots are also great, the switching between shots is very smooth, and there are several interesting matching clips.

The soundtrack is not as good as expected, but it is also very good. It matches the scene very well, but it basically only played a role in contrast. It's not as impressive as Hisaishi let Kenji Kawai memorize the melody.

The dubbing, Chunqiu's are very good, most of the rest are quite satisfactory, but the lingba and the mouse are very good. Overall, excellent.

The character setting is distinctive, but not very uniform. Chunqiu, grandma Chunqiu, grandma Chunqiu, and Lingpo Ratpo are the same style. Kun and sister Kun are the same style. The rest is another style. Later, I saw the end of the film, and sure enough, there were three characters.

The plot, this can only be said to pass. It should have been a pretty good plot, but the director was not sure. The place where it should be performed well was not spread, and the place where it should stop was not closed. Most of the sensationalism is not the time. After all, the director is a newcomer. It is really difficult for newcomers to tell a good story while showing a big worldview. Well, Miyazaki can do it, but Liang Xuan is not Miyazaki.

The characterization is also a bit too thin. The heroine is Wang Yuyan, the hero is a fish, and the second man is Duan Yu. After all, the plot and the characters are tied together, and the story is not well told, how can you create a good character?

There is also a problem with the overall rhythm, but this is a common problem for newcomers. Even Hayao Miyazaki, the rhythm at the end of "Nausicaa" has collapsed, and the rhythm of last year's hit "The Great Sage Returns" is even more messy. However, the plot and characters of "Nausicaa" are okay. The plot of "The Great Sage" is not very good, but at least several qualified characters such as Jiang Liuer Monkey Chaos have been created. But "Big Fish" is the third line of the rhythm of the plot characters collapsed. These three collapses are added together, and the result is what I said before. There is no sense of substitution, which makes it difficult to put emotions in. When the protagonist is happy, we don't follow happiness. When the protagonist was sad, we did not follow.

The last is the lines. . . This failed! ! In fact, most of the characters' lines are okay-except for the few spare tire declarations made by Qiu, it is really embarrassing. . . . But draw! outside! sound! It's so annoying! ! Except for the introduction of the world view at the beginning, which is a bit useful, the rest is completely destroying the atmosphere. Okay, I know that Grandma Ruth’s voice is very good, but the goodness of the sugar does not mean that the director can put the sugar to make it disgusting. I think the voice-over alone can deduct a star from the movie.

By analogy, Xin Haicheng's "Children Chasing Many Stars" is a pee. Personally, I think "Big Fish and Begonia" is slightly better, but it's not much better.

Ah, and also, I have never seen such, such insincere nude coding, even if the shadow of the group is unknown, it turned out to be the Sunflower Book, no wonder the two of them were so calm in the end. Woolen cloth. . . . You should understand everything you've seen. . .

Finally, there is a comprehensive evaluation:
full score of 10.
9 points for fine arts, super first-class, nothing to say, 1 point is deducted because of the lack of uniformity.
The score is 8.5 points, excellent.
Dubbing 8 points, Mr. Jin Shijie Yang Ting is so good.
The score is 8 points, which is very good.
The 3D effect is 7.5 points, satisfactory, but not amazing.
Character creation is 6.5 points, the love triangle between civilian Wang Yuyan, Baifa Duan Yu and Dolphin Murongfu.
The plot is 6 points, which could have been fine, but it didn't make it well, and it didn't make a sense of substitution.
Rhythm control is 5 points, after all, he is a newcomer.
The line is 4.5 points, the spare tire declaration is really hypocritical.
Finally, the inexplicable voice-over, -1 point, embarrassment is committed! !

Overall comment: 7.5. I can see that I am very diligent, but it is indeed lack of fire.

In my opinion, it is worth the fare.

ps. I heard that the source of the story is a dream of director Liang Xuan. . . It is probably the dream he had just finished watching "Daughter of the Sea" that night.
pss. There are a few shots that appear to be a tribute. The scene where Grandpa Chun treats the poison to Qiu is very much like the scene where the king insect treats Nausicaa at the end of "Nausicaa". In the end, Tsubaki and Kun's "famous confrontation" is very similar to the situation of Shinji and Rei in the sea of lcl in "EVA Sincerely For You". Of course, it's not as dirty as the big ride of the ruffian. I can see these two for a while.
psss. When I finished watching, I was thinking, Zhang Chun, hurry up and get rid of Liang Xuan, find a good screenwriter and partner with you, you have a bright future. Liang Xuan, you will be responsible for investment in the future. . . .
pssss. Add another sentence that I just thought of. In fact, the characters in the movie can be summarized as: the heroine is Liang Xuan, the second male is Zhang Chun, the fish is the "Big Fish" movie, and the lingman and the rat is an old and cunning investor, the heroine Grandparents are diehard fans who participated in crowdfunding, and those passers-by whose homes have been destroyed are ordinary audiences with a bewildered look.

Final suggestion: If you are a graphics party, it is highly recommended. Every frame of screenshot is really a desktop screen, which is better than Xin Haicheng. But if it's a story party, you don't need to go.
Of course, feeling the party is free.

Big Fish & Begonia quotes

  • Lingpo: What brings you to the Island of Souls?

Chun: There's a soul I'm looking for: the soul of a human boy

Lingpo: What time was it he died?

Chun: It was two days before the wheat harvest.

Lingpo: You need to be sure of the date. Otherwise you're searching for a needle in a haystack. So many die every day.

Chun: I'm sure. It was my birthday.

Lingpo: I know what you're trying to do, girl, and it goes against the laws of nature!

Chun: I don't care. I've got to save him!

Lingpo: The punishment is harsh for those who defy nature, no matter who you are, so you *should* care.

Chun: But I owe him, for saving my life.

Lingpo: How very touching. I've been stuck here for 800 years, and I'm still not done paying penance for my sin!

    Chun: But you didn't...!

Lingpo: Don't interrupt! Let me tell you what real tragedy is. Meeting someone you care about so much you forget yourself and make a mistake. So then you go back and try to fix it and make things right again, and then you learn that fixing it's impossible.

    [chuckles]

Lingpo: We can never undo the wrongs we've done. This I know.

Chun: You're saying you won't help me?

Lingpo: I'm saying I pity you. Besides, resurrecting someone from the dead doesn't come cheap.

    Chun: What would it cost?

Lingpo: No less than a lovely girl's loveliest features: your eyes.

    Chun: [winces]

    Lingpo: [laughing] Now she's scared.

    [chuckles]

Lingpo: Don't want to give up your pretty eyes, eh? All right, I'll take half your life instead.

Chun: If that'll save him, take it.
