Split personality, are the split personality personalities or different people?
In the movie "Split", the male protagonist Kevin split into 24 personalities due to being abused by his mother since he was a child, while he fell asleep in the world of consciousness. Unlike some of the settings I have seen together, these personalities and the master personality are mutually acquainted, and even the environment has shaped a new twenty-fourth personality. Whether it is the shadow of childhood, suffering and impurity, or the truth and the struggle between personality, it is not as attractive to me as the hypothesis put forward by the psychologist: Is split personality a manifestation of the development of human potential? If so, does this potential have an end, and where is the end?
One thing that makes me regretful is that this movie actually only showed about eight personalities of Kevin (including the master character, not to add so much content to the plot, but I hope it can be shown in the background), And the male protagonist is really great. The personality of Beast can be said to be the most special. His physiological structure has even broken away from the category of normal human beings, and his birth even makes me think that this personality is based on the imagination of the creatures in the zoo. And other personalities are not too varied, each with its own characteristics. Where did their completely different knowledge structure and physiological structure come from? Why is there such a completely different performance in the same body? Will those personalities have their own life memories? What are they doing when they are not in control? Is it a deep sleep? Or live your life in a certain corner of your brain? If this is the case, the human brain produces too much information, right? Will the body's needs also skyrocket? Or do they sit and communicate with other personalities? In addition, if other personalities can know what the chosen master is doing, does it mean that they can share memories? If memories can be shared, why can't their skills be interoperable? If they are all different, would each of them actually have their own shells, but visiting here from time to time, due to amnesia, they will think that they are troops, a person (doubt).
And all this is just my imagination, I don't know anything. And there are so many splits in personality, which also reminds me of master personality. After this split, what is left of the master character? Will he just face the heavy injuries again and again, and have been unable to reconcile with himself, and then split out a new personality time and time again, does the master, Beng, always maintain the original self, unlike the original self? We are also gradually changed by the environment. Because all changes can be differentiated by the master in the form of split personality, can he make all changes not affect him? Is this also the reason why he gradually fell into a deep sleep and rarely wakes up? It is also the reason why the 24 personality will be disrupted once he wakes up. After all, people are always receiving stimulation and always thinking.
BTW. I really love Cathy. It's really hard. I hope she can live well. I personally think that the movie is pretty good, and it's really scary.
PS. I originally wrote and recorded it after watching the movie, but suddenly I wanted to put it up and have a look. The writing was out of order, everyone patted it~~
