Let go of your thoughts, pick up your dreams

As expected, Pixar has maintained a consistent standard. Like "Cars 2", "dream" is its main theme. But this time is more difficult. A mouse full of imagination and food talent wants to become a chef in the human world. The simple plot setting, the patchwork of several characters with simple personalities, and an old-fashioned technique that becomes impossible becomes possible. Together, it is a good film that is surging and comfortable to watch. This is the charm of cartoons. There is no need to pursue the so-called depth, no need to dig into the heart, no need to portray complex human nature, no mysterious and mysterious plot settings, no beautiful handsome guys to attract attention, it only needs imagination. The famous saying that is constantly quoted in the film is Everyone can cook. I think the director actually made us understand that Everyone can do what he/she wants. Of course, this is not the case in reality, but if you are watching the film, your sense of mind is so strong. Isn't it a bit sad to not be incited by it? Let us be instigated willingly.

I watched the animation five times over and over again, twice for the national distribution, once for the station, and twice for the original soundtrack. I really can't stop cooking and dream-related things.

Ratatouille quotes

  • [frame freezes as Remy bursts through a window carrying a book over his head]

Remy: [voiceover] This is me. I think it's apparent that I need to rethink my life a little bit. What's my problem? First of all, I'm a rat. Which means, life is hard. Second, I have a highly developed sense of taste and smell.

  • Remy: [observing what Emile is eating] What are you eating?

Emile: [pause] I don't really know. I think it was some sort of wrapper once.

Remy: What? No! You're in Paris now, baby! My town! No brother of mine eats rejecta-menta in my town!
