For a period of time after the start of the film, I felt that I had made a mistake in my judgment. This may really be the legend of Will Smith fighting alone. Looking at the deserted New York and the huge aircraft carrier, although there may be no one to praise this. Human stories, but watching a person struggling in this end world still has a different mentality, because this kind of story structure is completely open, you can guess the beginning but not the end.
However, this feeling did not last, and the film quickly slipped into the quarrel. It turns out that Will Smith is not alone in the fight. He is the same as the character in "Twenty-eight Days Later", but is one of the survivors. His destiny quickly changed from a state of being at ease to a state of carrying a mission.
From the original only one, from survival to saving lives, this kind of psychological process is epic if it is played well, and if it is not played well, it is pretending to be coercion. The film started to get out of control on this crucial change, and then seemed to be eager to achieve a legendary story, and quickly ended the fate of the protagonist.
At the moment of the film's climax, no one belonged to anyone except Will Smith. I saw nothing but an actor eager to get away with 20 million pieces.
