During the Battle of the Helm Valley, Aragorn asked them to retreat into the city wall. Haldir shouted for the elves to retreat. Unexpectedly, he was slashed from behind by a half-orc, and then hacked to death. The moment he fell, he saw many dead people in front of him. Noble, beautiful and immortal elf!
