Discover the value of one's own existence

The humble and tiny characters rendered in the first part of the film feel a little tedious. It is this meticulous portrayal of the changes in the protagonist's psychological process that makes the contrast of the climax of the latter film so strong. This touches people's hearts and pierces the softest part of their hearts. The process of people discovering their own value and working hard for it is so beautiful. I really like the scenes and music during training, and I admire the hard work in the ring at the end.
In life, many people are ordinary or even humble. To win respect, they can only rely on their own hard work. Just like the end of the film, many people are cheering for Rocky. With unremitting efforts, opportunities will come to you, allowing you to find your way in life, and defeating your humble self is stronger and more worthy of respect than defeating a proud enemy.

It doesn't matter if I lose. If I can play the whole game, when the bell thinks, I am still standing on the court. For the first time in my life, I will understand one thing: I am no longer a crappy.

Because there is no win, so five stars.

Rocky quotes

  • Adrian: Einstein flunked out of school, twice.

    Paulie: Is that so?

Adrian: Yeah. Beethoven was deaf. Helen Keller was blind. I think Rocky's got a good chance.

  • Rocky: I been comin' here for six years, and for six years ya been stickin' it to me, an' I wanna know how come!

    Mickey: Ya don't wanna know!

Rocky: I wanna know how come!

    Mickey: Ya wanna know?

    Rocky: I WANNA KNOW HOW!

Mickey: OK, I'm gonna tell ya! You had the talent to become a good fighter, but instead of that, you become a legbreaker to some cheap, second rate loanshark!

    Rocky: It's a living.

Mickey: IT'S A WASTE OF LIFE!
