Disappointed

I think this film is not very good, it is very old-fashioned, and there is no new idea. The summer romance part of the male and female protagonists should be the highlight of the film, but the filming is very general, there is nothing that makes people smile after watching it. Place, there is no memorable place. And their performance... how to put it, the typical American is stupid and naive. I felt that there was a frame in their performance, and then they worked hard to move closer to that frame, which was a bit blunt.
There are still people arguing whether the old man is Noah or Lon. Obviously Noah, Noah Calhoun. That's how Ally's friends introduced the young Noah when he was in the playground at the beginning. At the end, the old gentleman was sent to the emergency room, and the medical staff called him Mr. Calhoun. And the ending of the story that the old Ally finally remembered was that she went to Noah's house with luggage. So Noah and Ally got married, and their children are also theirs.

I really don't think this film is romantic. Brother Carpenter didn't know the background of the woman before chasing someone, but he didn't consider the consequences at all. Later, he was discriminated against by the woman's parents and didn't have the courage to face it, so he had to break up. The most annoying this kind of irresponsible fall in love without thinking.

It's still quite touching. . But it's a bit off the beaten track

The Notebook quotes

  • Young Noah: I'm not usually like this, I'm sorry.

Young Allie: Oh yes you are.

Young Noah: I could be fun, if you want. I could be pensive, uhh... smart, supersticious, brave? And I, uhh, I can be light on my feet. I could be whatever you want. You just tell me what you want, and I'm gonna be that for you.

    Young Allie: ...You're dumb.

Young Noah: I could be that.

Young Noah: Come on, one date, what's it gonna hurt?

Young Allie: Mmm, I don't think so.

Young Noah: Well what can I do to change your mind?

  • Young Allie: [Noah is about to lie down in the street intersection] You're gonna get hit.

Young Noah: [Looks around for oncoming cars, there aren't any in sight] Uhh, by all the cars?
