Movies can't be excellent, or even classic movies, by relying on special effects.
Because the audience in the future will not only pay for special effects, learn from others in 2001, which era is a classic.
This Star Wars directed by Lucas has superb special effects art, second-rate collective performances and scripts, third-rate editing (maybe this is the director's burden!), and a director with inadequate professional skills.
