Zombie movies have developed to this day and can be regarded as a unique movie genre. From the dawn of the living dead, to 28 days of panic and then to the Resident Evil series. The audience is already familiar with the setting of the plot: either virus, genetic mutation, or radiation mutation, blood, scream, escape, counterattack, conspiracy, and some unreliable ones will also add comedy elements. It can be said that the zombie film has reached the extreme.
Extreme, can also be understood as difficult to break through. As a result, more and more movies are not satisfied with sensory stimulation and begin to introduce concepts of religion, philosophy, and human nature to attract audiences—the stinky and long American drama "The Walking Dead" is of this type. But for a type of film, this is not necessarily a good thing. When the audience is accustomed to special effects, and even visually numb, where should zombie movies go?
