I hugged my knees and watched on the bed in the dormitory.
I didn't actually understand it at the time, but I was still crying.
After I went abroad, I gradually understood every exaggerated detail of the movie and the pain and anxiety that the light wanted to express in real life. It is not that the male protagonist is mentally fragile to get crazy after knowing that his wife has cheated. Thinking about it now, he actually sensed that the other party was going to cheat and became crazy after he was convinced of his suspicion.
After watching this movie, I slowly realized that everyone's characteristics may have a lot of background information that can't be easily described.
The male protagonist seems to be a mentally unstable person, but he is delirious because his wife who loves him too much cannot accept his derailment.
The hostess seems to be a lustful widow, but in fact, it is because her husband accidentally got into a car accident because of her coldness, which caused her to go from one extreme to the other.
Even though so long has passed since I watched it, I still clearly remember a detail in the movie that I could not forget.
All people feel that the male protagonist is insane, they keep away from him, and they all prejudice and discriminate against him. But no one treats the heroine this way.
Basically, everyone’s attitude towards the hostess is, eh, aren’t you the wife of someone? Do you want to have a drink another day? Even the police uncle who looks righteous and is a colleague and friend of the heroine's ex-husband.
Both the male protagonist and the female protagonist turned into people with completely different personalities after experiencing huge trauma, but only the male protagonist received discrimination in this society.
The only difference between them is whether everyone can benefit from it.
It is also unfortunate that people who cannot handle their lives well, those who cannot be benefited by others are squinted and indifferent, and those who can be gained by others are sympathized.
I remembered a passage I saw on Weibo before:
A 15-year-old girl is holding the hand of a 1-year-old son. People laugh at her as cheap, but no one knows that she was raped at the age of 13. You laugh at a person who is overweight, but you don’t know that the person is seriously ill. Illness causes weight imbalance; you scold an old man for being ugly, but you don't know that he was disfigured in order to defend the country. Often you only see the result, but not the reason.
I also read an article that argued for this world of seeing faces, pointing out that this world of seeing faces is an evolution that started from ancient times when ancestors quickly judged the existence of this creature and acted accordingly.
The word prejudice probably also has a deep and strong sociological meaning.
No one can blame, no one can swear. We are all members of society.
Now Canada is preparing to accept more than 20,000 refugees, and the circle of friends has almost exploded. Compared with the previous when Xiaotudou came to power, everyone hoped that he would improve Hubble’s immigration policy and felt that he was handsome. The book is fast.
If Xiao Tudou were a member of the Conservative Party, he would definitely not open the country to refugees, nor would he improve immigration policies, or half of the cabinet members would be women.
If you are still unable to connect the phenomena to the cause and effect relationship when you live in the society, then this is the problem that this society needs to worry about.
