This film is still studying tyranny and confrontation. Many films have such themes, the Matrix, the Brave Heart, and the cut-off.
Just like what the Americans say when scolding people are very vicious: looser, losing means being despised. When Americans are saved, they always shout: success. Intensified competition fills their lives.

I don't know if they have become more energetic or more tired.

Although I knew it was about fighting and killing, I watched it patiently, because the pictures were so beautiful. The various environments have been cleaned up without a trace of miscellaneous hairs, although it is gray and without emotion, but it does not lose its sense of beauty.

The setting is too silly and the logic is completely unreasonable. I watched Bell for half an hour and couldn't stand it anymore. . . Can anyone tell me it's worth watching later. . . . The initial setting of the antitopian story is too important. If it is not persuasive, the whole story will look particularly funny, and everyone's bitterness and hatred are like convulsions. .

In order to completely eradicate the war, people's thoughts are controlled, emotions are imprisoned, and video books are burned. Is this really worth it? The subject of such a proposition is more difficult to shoot, there are still many unreasonable places in the film, plus too many copies of The Matrix and 1984, it can only be said to be quite satisfactory.

Equilibrium quotes

  • John Preston: Then I have no choice but to remand you to the Palace of Justice for processing.

Mary: Processing. You mean execution, don't you?

    John Preston: Processing.

  • Father: Prozium - The great nepenthe. Opiate of our masses. Glue of our great society. Salve and salvation, it has delivered us from pathos, from sorrow, the deepest chasms of melancholy and hate. With it, we anesthetize grief, annihilate jealousy, obliterate rage. Those sister impulses towards joy, love, and elation are anesthetized in stride, we accept as fair sacrifice. For we embrace Prozium in its unifying fullness and all that it has done to make us great.
