"Four Feather" takes place in 1898, and is about a British officer (Heath Ledger, Heath Ledger, handsome to say, especially when the tears at the end!) when he knows his team is going to sea Story of Sudan's resignation in anger after plans to fight Muslims. His friend and fiancée (Kate Hudson) send him four white feathers to mock his cowardice. To save his reputation, he disguised himself as an Arab and went in secret to save the lives of those who called him a coward.

Filled with the pure beauty of the Moroccan desert, the film recreates the British aristocracy at the end of the 19th century. The thrilling, exciting storyline offers audiences an exotic flair rarely seen on screen, exploring the riveting conflict between two very different cultures, focusing on friendship and heroic destiny among friends. "Four Feathers" explores the unyielding belief in a man's heart to fight against fate.

It's a huge work, but it's such a grand scene to set off a person, Harry. To set off the process of defeating himself in order to remove the shame of four feathers, he is done! I love this kind of courage! Why should refusing war be judged not cowardly? Watching his comrades cheer when they hear the news of the war scares me! Glory and loyalty are two words that often frighten me. Was it not for the honor of being loyal to the emperor when the Japanese invaded?
What touched me the most...
was Harry's bravery, real bravery, and the process by which he proved he was not a coward;
when Harry saw the letter from his fiancée to Mark and said, "I thought I could go back, but I Heartbroken when I can't go back"; it
was Athany and Harry who reunited at the church where they were supposed to get married, crying: Forget everything, you'll meet a good girl, and the four of us will be together Drinking tea...I love you, but I can't..." It
was Mark who suddenly fell down and touched Harry's face. It was the sublimation of the friendship between the two men. At this time, Mark had decided to quit and have a lover; it
was Mark who delivered the speech, we Not fighting for the country, fighting for honor, but for the friends around you!

The Four Feathers quotes

  • Jack Durrance: You may be lost, but you are not forgotten. For those who have travelled far, to fight in foreign lands, know that the soldier's greatest comfort is to have his friends close at hand. In the heat of battle it ceases to be an idea for which we fight. Or a flag. Rather we fight for the man on our left, and we fight for the man on our right. And when armies are scattered and the empires fall away, all that remains is the memory of those precious moments that we spent sided by side.

  • Jack Durrance: I suppose I'm going because you are going. There is no one I'd sooner trust my life with. You're all that matters.
