"Rough Diamond": Good luck and trick people, don't do it again

A very cool movie. However, it is a bit exaggerated to say that it is the biggest will of Oscar.

The reason why I personally feel that it is not as good as the clown is that it loses in the red and green color scheme, the neon electronic soundtrack, and the constant quarrels required by the plot. The first half of the plot is not compact enough, so you can watch it while stretching after working out. The second half made me fidgety, especially in the last 20 minutes I watched while holding the hat of my sweater. I feel that as an audience, my state is very similar to the temperament of this movie: the first 80% of the careful calculations are for the final gamble.

The ending is very sad, but the sigh can make people think. Sandler maintained a stubborn posture from beginning to end, tearing down the east wall to make up for the west wall, so he was in a hurry. The shooting angle in the film is from the crack of the door to the monitor screen, from the reaction of passers-by to the perspective of God. As viewers, we seem to be constantly switching between movie roles and laughing at this hilarious and petty gambler who is insanely insane.

For the starring Adam Sandler, three points, as the first self-subverting work, is already a great success: acting online, it doesn't have to be a comedy. sigh, I wish it wasn't Gao Xiaosong's girlfriend, otherwise, on the day of the Oscar nomination for Best Actor, if I sat on Curator Gao's lap, I would have shouted Sandler when joker appeared.

For the directors Safdie brothers, they once again used restrained close-ups, psychedelic electronic music, overlapping quarrels, and tense rhythms, which made people want to dive, pogo, and vomit under the live house stage fragrance. It can be said that the two brothers have used mature and sophisticated techniques to make this kind of audio-visual and drama from non-mainstream to mainstream. The subject matter is not old-fashioned, and the picture is very grainy, but the interpretation of the characters is a bit too forceful.

Finally, advertised: If you think the clown looks depressing, this one will be even more depressing...

The Safdie Brothers' amazing new film, Manic Movie of the Year. 1. Audio-visual integrity and explosiveness are extremely high, with a good hand-held mirror, restrained close-up and close-up, ecstatic electronic music, complicated and complicated sounds, dense lines, overlapping dialogues, endless quarrels and nervousness. The rhythms add radiance to each other, making it so disturbing that you want to smash furniture. 2. Adam Sandler played a blindly obsessed, insatiable, crazy speculative gambler, and it was a pity that he did not nominate the best actor. 3. The end-to-end transitions through time and space are amazing: mine - inside of rough stone - universe - colonoscope & body hole - rough stone - cosmic starry sky. 4. Kevin Garnett's cameo appearance with The Weekend was a surprise, and the cross-cutting of the betting moment was terrifying. 5. The film subtly moves the viewer to and fro between contempt and sympathy for the protagonist (although he is impulsive and irrational, but also has a stupid and pitiful side). 6. The abrupt ending of negative irony can be called the Leopard Tail of the Year. (9.0/10)

One of Bong Joon-ho's favorites of the year. Wild, restless, energetic. The genius of the script lies not in the lines nor in the structure, but in the tension-filled scenario design. Two examples: ①When KG returned the gem, a group of people was trapped in a small space by an obstacle electric door, and then ran around with the male protagonist who repaired the door. The contrast is stark, and the dispute continues to heat up ②The male protagonist was captured by the creditor just before the child's performance → Negotiated in the car, but found that his winning bet was intercepted in advance → Stripped naked and trapped in the trunk of the car, he could only ask his wife who was about to divorce for help , a series of advanced bad luck is basically the epitome of the whole film. Adam Sandler's show-stopping sense of comedy makes the audience have more complex emotions for the unfortunate male protagonist. This role does need a comedian to play, and the iconic toothy smirk makes the ending of the last five minutes. The shock is doubled. PS Bong Joon-ho and the Safdie brothers have chosen to use stone as a logo element in this year's work, perhaps this is why they admire each other (Joshua Safdie listed "Parasite" as one of the top ten of the 2010s). 90

Julia: It's this guy The Weeknd.

Howard Ratner: What the fuck is The Weeknd?

Julia: He's gonna be major, even though he's from Canada.

Howard Ratner: This guy looks stupid.

  • Howard Ratner: Fuckin' from stone to stone. Garnett's a stone, you know that.
