Breathtaking Dadaist film

"Interlude", also known as "Interlude", is a typical Dadaist work. It pursues the realm of unintentional, accidental and random. In this film, a variety of shooting and editing techniques are used: freeze, upgrade, dissolve, rewind and so on. The film uses a lot of unusual shooting angles. It completely abandons the traditional narrative logic. The whole film is confusing, and I can't figure out what it is talking about. But through the back-and-forth cross-cutting and the visual effects between the pictures, these seemingly illogical fragments seem to have a little relationship. The contrast of movement and stillness, the quick switching, the sense of rhythm increasing little by little, and the perfect coordination with the music, pushed the part of chasing the hearse to the climax of the film, producing a strong sense of tension and speed.
