Shouldn't this be a small v-cum "face" scene comparison

I'm a big fan of Director Wu's "Saving Face", so I'm looking forward to this new film after 16 years. Because I really like SF so much, I like almost all the protagonists in it, I like vvan's sultry eyes, I like Xiao V's cleverness and "clumsy", like the classic diving, like... No, I went to the wrong set . ?

I believe that it is not difficult for people who like sf to find the classic elements of that film in this film. For example, the embarrassment of vending machines, such as church accidents, such as shopping for clothes and chatting, such as Xiao V and Ellie. I really think Ellie is the little v she was when she was a child, smart, restrained, hurried, simple. Even the deceased mother in Ellie's photo is Xiao V's mother Chen Chong. I thought I was waiting for a sequel to SF, but it turned out to be a "prequel".

What's a bit awkward is that I always feel that Ellie is like a junior high school student. Compared with the other two main actors, it seems to be too small, not too suitable. If this story takes place in college...so beautiful.

I like the little details of director Wu's romance so much. I was caught by the vending machine in sf and I was caught paying money from the bottom pocket of my trousers. It was embarrassing to wear autumn clothes in the pond.

How do Russian dolls dress?
Vivienne's sultry

However, I think this film is too subtle, the background seems to be around 2000 (I guess wrong, it should be in recent years), people's attitudes towards homosexuality are also very conservative, and the scenes between the two heroines are not More, not to mention the shameful and beautiful things. I like the passionate love after I have tried it. I like the fantasy, temptation, sweetness, passion, desire, possession, jealousy, disappointment, even conflict and madness in love. There are too few elements here to be enjoyable. As far as the film is concerned, I give it four stars, and I give the remaining one to Director Wu and sf, because I really want to give that film ten stars. This ending is a bit regrettable. During the viewing process, I was thinking, if she guessed that Ellie was on the other side of the text message early in the morning, and then deliberately did not break it, continued to maintain the text message love, and finally got together, it would be better. Since many details show that the male protagonist cannot be the delicate and romantic object of the text message, such as two people chatting and suddenly receiving a text message from each other, is this possible? I really can't believe it.

Thinking that the real beauties that everyone admires may be a little bit scumbag. While talking with her boyfriend about a perfunctory love that is neither hot nor fragrant nor stinky, Esther is reluctant to let go, and at the same time falls into a text message love that can't extricate herself. However, there is no sense of disobedience at all. Sure enough, what good-looking people do is right.

Director Wu, I continue to look forward to it, 16 years is a long time. ?

This story fully proves that an interesting soul can not only eliminate appearance prejudice, but also transcend sexual orientation, so whether it is love or friendship, interesting talents have long-term attraction; the three-person relationship structure is good, and some new ideas are shot within the framework of the routine - But what does Asian identity have to do with it?
