Mask, desire

  • "Ghosts in Disguise" A magical comedy movie with a very attractive plot. It is both relaxed and empathetic when you watch it. In reality, the actor is an ordinary clerk who is unsatisfactory. Facing most things, he is in a state of depression. After putting on the magic mask, he completely shows his desires. What he feels is a release, a release of desire. After putting down the mask, he still has to return to reality. Most of us in life are ordinary, and it is not always smooth sailing. Sometimes we wear masks that we want to show, but which one is the real us? What do we really want? What is our desire? When watching this movie, I feel not only a kind of easy and funny, but also a simple empathy of characters. In addition, I like dogs in movies so much, and my wife is so cute, haha.

I liked this animation very much when I was a child, and I also borrowed live-action movies to watch it. When I grew up and watched the new live-action movies, I felt that I lost some of my admiration in the past.

Knowing Jim Carrey’s first play, his facial expressions are really rich, and I really recommend it to the domestic facial-paralysis-style small fresh meat and small flowers to see, and learn about Jin Carrey’s expression management and emotional transmission.

The Mask quotes

The Mask: Noooo. But I believe my friends are. Perhaps you know them.

[He takes fistfuls of high denomination cash out of his pocket]

The Mask: Franklin, Grant, and... Jackson?

  • The Mask: [Flattened from landing on the street] Look Ma, I'm roadkill!
