a beautiful love

The way it is told is so powerful that it is unforgettable. You thought it was a story about the disappearance of a pet, but it is actually a beautiful love story about a man of outstanding quality and his love that has been frozen. The climax came when the male protagonist said he loved the pig.

Of course, he was deceived by the action meaning of the movie poster and title. But I didn't expect it to be so awesome. It's the type that can blow up.

A good movie is something that requires the extreme squeeze of creativity and the whole body and mind to produce a good work. Without a doubt, this movie is the best example.

The pace is slow to burst. I have been deceived by the former translation of the name, thinking that in the next second, Cage will turn into a special agent and kill the enemy, but in the end he is still a cook. . . But there is one thing to say, Cage's acting skills are still online, and the word-of-mouth of more slow-paced dramas like this will come back. As for the box office favored by capital, it is estimated that it will not be saved in the short term.

3.5. It is rare for Cage to act in a serious film that is not campy, about trauma and memories related to food. Oregon's woods and delicate emotions are no wonder some critics mention Reichardt, but overall it's the tone of American independent films. If you say "not as good as a pig" in the future, you can use this film to prove it.

Pig quotes

  • Charlotte (formerly Restaurant Waitress): [Waitress giving rote announcement that accompanies the deconstructed scallops she has just delivered in a smoke filled globe to Rob and Amir's table] We all have a set of beliefs about the world around us. To challenge them is to acknowledge our foundation is sand, but it opens us up to something greater, to pure connection, to true life. Today's journey begins by uniting the depths of the sea with the riches of our forests. We've emulsified locally sourced scallops encased in a flash-frozen seawater roe blend, on a bed of foraged huckleberry foam, all bathed in the smoke from Douglass fir cones.

Rob: I'd like to speak to the chef.

  • Rob: You should use stale bread for french toast.
