American classics, Chinese bad reviews.

This film is based on quality, but it can only be said to be okay, based on story, it is also general, without clear explanation of the cause and effect, it is purely to exorcise ghosts.

One big thing is that it is disgusting enough, the performance is very good, the evil spirits did not let everyone down.

Chinese people may not be accustomed to seeing it. It is a country of materialist dialectics and atheism, but it is good to dabble in it. Looking at the culture of other people's homes is the same as the ancients like to find Taoist priests to draw amulets to drive away ghosts and zombies.

In a very early American horror film, an atheist family was possessed by a demon, and then two priests ran out to exorcise the ghosts, drove them away, and followed them with soy sauce, faintly advertising Christ.

This film was very marketable in the United States at that time. It can be said to be the originator-level horror film. The IMDb score is very high. It can be seen that the early horror films talk about the possession of evil spirits, and the bridge segment of the priest rescue is very marketable.

But it won't work now. Basically, you can only use soy sauce. People who are impatient can watch it fast, or skip directly to the last half an hour. The dry goods are more plentiful and not so long-winded.

As the story itself, there are no big surprises, but it adds a lot of faith elements. The development and layout of the plot was a bit too verbose, and it was obviously possible to move forward quickly, but it was very procrastinated. But as a horror film in 1973, it has to be said that the horror component is quite enough. The surprise was seeing the gray-haired Max Von Cido.

Can you not be a good person without faith? In the face of evil, God is powerless.
