The selling point of "National Treasure 2" is indeed not the complexity of the narrative. Like the previous episode, the focus of the story is on the extreme and exaggerated details of every treasure hunt and clues found, although the plot is very unreasonable - such as big The appearance and motives of the villain are too vague and unclear, and it seems that it is just to establish the opposite of a treasure-hunting story. Even so, Ed Harris still left a deep impression on people, especially at the climax of the story. It's a return to the "Hollywood theme" again, which, although cliché, is still delightful and heartwarming.
This kind of adventure treasure-hunting action film should really be used for reference by domestic entertainment blockbusters. Of course, at present, domestic movies obviously cannot replace similar story scenes with Zhongnanhai or the Great Hall of the People, let alone who would dare to kidnap Chairman Hu and Premier Wen, but there are still many things to learn from in terms of storytelling. The most impressive thing in "National Treasure 2" is not Cage's acting silly and cool, but the quarrel and bickering of the parents played by Helen Mirren and Jon Walter in the film. Coupled with the jokey fights between Cage and his girlfriend and the comedy of the assistant's gags, this treasure-hunting adventure movie feels like a movie where people keep fighting each other in the action scenes of running away. But still pretty.
If you pay attention, domestic audiences will find such a big Hollywood movie. There are no dead people in the whole film. You can't even see any bloodstains. Car chases and shots are fired on the streets of London, but the bullets are guaranteed to only hit the rear window of the car and will never hurt anyone. This film really adheres to Disney's consistent brand of family entertainment. Although the storyline is exaggerated, it is extremely conservative in morality. From this point of view, when "National Treasure 1" appeared, the combination of treasure hunting and traditional adventure and action film genres was innovative enough to make people's eyes shine. The film still maintains a high level of entertainment as a whole, and even some paragraphs obviously exceed the previous work, but unfortunately the overall still lacks innovation.
