Everyone has something hidden in their heart that is hard to reveal to the public. And the seemingly gloomy male protagonist is the most open and honest person. Everyone else has their own purpose, even his colleagues, who may have been relieved by the suspension or departure of the hero, who were good friends before. The human mind is too complicated.
