ESTHER, has two meanings, one is the hostess of the family, and the other is a quiet and elegant woman.
Interestingly, the latter meaning is her appearance to others, and the latter is her own desire.
Doesn't this look a lot like a psychological test we've done?
ESTHER is a 33-year-old adult woman with both mental and physical diseases, which also determines her status in this family. She can use all her life experience, plus the appearance of a little girl, to subvert everything in this family.
She knew how to dress up as a harmless, elegant little girl.
Wearing braces, wearing shapewear pants, and wrapping her breasts with white cloth, she is clearly proficient in piano and painting, and she can still handle the level that a little girl should have.
Not to mention the heavy thinking about human nature brought by this film, ESTHER is completely beyond the level of a mentally ill, she even looks like a psychologist.
Unfortunately, she ended up destroying herself.
Not because she wasn't smart enough, but because she wasn't sober enough.
All the pictures she painted on the wall were sex scenes of JOHN and adult women, not little girls, but she was still obsessed with trying to seduce JOHN with a body that looked like a little girl.
Failure is inevitable.
ESTHER broke down at the beginning, because she killed several family members, but she still didn't understand that some things were not like playing a game console.
Or maybe she doesn't want to wake up at all? Once you wake up, will you have to face a more desperate state?
Many soybean oils feel that ESTHER is worthy of sympathy, but what is worthy of sympathy? Was it her tragic experience? It was only by relying on these sympathies that she slowly destroyed others and herself.
But what she really wants is not sympathy~
Compassion and love are far apart.
Sympathy is her tool, love is a mirage.
Because no one really sees the real ESTHER, ESTHER is doomed not to have love.
