One of the best works in 2009

One of my personal favorites in the 2009 film.

The rationality of Westerners to the extreme is deduced to a certain extreme by the film. Gerard Butler, changed the lingering romance in "PS I Love You"; concealed the temperament of the Spartan king in "Three Hundred Warriors", turned into a survivor of a catastrophe after his beloved wife and daughter were brutally murdered by gangsters and the cold-blooded avengers.

Jamie Foxx's big-name lawyer is a little late and beautiful. The male lead who plays the prosecution lawyer in this film, although he is a legal practitioner, his soul often wanders on the edge of the rules of the game, and he does not hesitate to use his defense object as a career to climb stepping stone. Although there was an excellent performance in "The Soloist" before, the stylist of this film also made enough efforts to make Jamie look like a lawyer, but it can't hide her strong role interpretation.

The way the film is told is a highlight.

Law Abiding Citizen quotes

  • Detective Dunnigan: [to Nick over the phone] Listen, that contraption that killed Cantrell was a weaponized bomb-disposal robot. Can you believe that? Damn thing had video, night vision, you name it. It's like military AP1, for Christ's sake. That's anti-tank rounds, Nick. I think he's saving you for last. Nick, you've got to get in front of this guy if you want to stay alive.

  • Mayor: [During a city-hall meeting with federal, city, and state government officials] I have one simple question: why is Clyde Shelton still in my city? I refuse to believe that one man is smarter than Homeland Security, the FBI, the Sheriff's department or the entire Philadelphia Police department. I don't care how we do it or what kind of obscure legal justification we have to invoke. I don't care what laws we have to bend, I am sure there is a provision of the Homeland Security Act we can activate.
