Wake up, middle school!

Although "The Last King of Scots" is based on the ruling period of former Uganda president Idi Amin (1925-2003), Forest Whitaker, who plays Amin, also plays the dictator's character to the core, but in general, this paragraph is not very interesting. History is not clear. After watching it, I prefer to say that this is a movie that depicts how the male protagonist of the second illness harms others and himself.

(There is a plot below)

The hero of the film, the fictional character Nicholas. Nicholas Garrigan, who graduated from medical school in Scotland in 1970, is a baby boomer; this is important because his contemporaries instigated the worldwide counterculture of the 1960s. As a result, Nicholas, who was inspired by the spirit of the times, also fell ill with the second illness and wanted to get rid of the "shackles". He spun the globe, ready to go wherever he could. Pointing to Canada for the first time - both belong to the West, what's the fun? So the second time, his fingers touched Uganda.
Nicholas went to Uganda to do overseas medical work in this way, but from the aforementioned behavior, he knew that his trip was similar to that of a hippie going to Nepal to take drugs. Without AIDS, the third world, including Taiwan, is almost a paradise for slutty white men! Then he tried to seduce a married white female colleague, completely exposing its sloppy nature.
Then, Nicholas met President Armin by chance, and was appreciated to become the President's personal doctor and advisor. He was overwhelmed by Amin's charm - bold, close to the people, anti-imperialist, anti-colonial, anti-racist! How cool! And the vain and luxurious life in the power circle is also to his appetite. The advice given to him by the British diplomats in Uganda was dismissed as racially biased nonsense from an older generation of imperialists.
However, the old adage that "accompanying the king is like a tiger" soon came true. The approachable Armin that Nicholas first came into contact with was just an appearance. Like most dictators in history, he was headstrong, moody, suspicious of his subordinates, and frantically slaughtered the opposition; And such a boss is simply not something Nicholas can handle with his limited life experience. Nicholas' casual tidbit has unjustly killed a minister, and he finally begins to feel that things are not right, while Armin confiscates his British passport, putting him in a difficult position; at this point he foolishly puts himself in greater danger— - Actually having an affair with Amin's concubine! The fact that the concubine was having an affair with someone was discovered by Amin, who was then brutally killed by Amin. An angry Nicholas tried to poison Amin at the airport, but his clumsy skills could not conceal his entourage. He was beaten and sent to Amin.
Armin finally showed his cold-blooded true face in front of him, and he said to the bruised Nicholas:
"Did you think this was all a game? 'I will go to Africa, and I will play the white man with the natives!' Is that what you thought? We are not a game, Nicholas. We are real. This room, here — it is real. I think your death will be the first real thing that has happened to you.”
“I am the father of this nation, Nicholas. And you have most … grossly … offended your father."
Nicholas retorted:
"You're a child. That's what makes you so fucking scary."
The reason why the above quoted a large number of lines is because what the two said both stabbed the essence of each other. In fact, Amin, who already knew that he was having an affair with his concubine, tortured Nicholas with torture, and then handed him over to his subordinates. Just when Nicholas was in a desperate crisis, a Ugandan doctor named Junju took advantage of Amin's lack of attention, rescued him, and smuggled him on a plane that was about to fly to Europe.
Dr. Junju told Nicholas his reason for saving him:
"You deserve to die. But dead, you can do nothing. Alive, you might just be able to redeem yourself."
"Go home. Tell the world the truth about Amin. They will believe you; you are a white man." At the
end of the movie, the plane took off slowly and left Uganda, Amin could do nothing when he heard the news, but Doctor Junju was killed immediately, and sacrificed his life for Nicholas, who was dead in his mouth; And Nicholas just stared blankly at the scenery outside the window, recalling the innocent children who welcomed Amin to the stage, and then lowered his head sullenly...

In this years-long, nightmarish trip to Africa, because of this young man's naivety, recklessness, and insomnia, I don't know how many lives have been killed; however, until the curtain ends, we can't even be sure whether he has grown up or not. , Have you sincerely repented of your mistakes, and have you exposed Amin's atrocities to the world? Is it really worth dying for Doctor Quanju?
Of course, he can go back. The real arena is not something that a newborn calf can wander freely. Modifying Stephen Chow's famous line is very suitable for this Scottish boy:
"Go back to Mars (mother's arms), the earth (the adult world) is very dangerous!"

※Tips: "The last Scotland "King" is the nickname Armin gave himself. He served in the British Army and was very fond of Scottish culture; this is also reflected in the film.

James McAvoy and Ewan McGregor, the two Scottish Scottish men, are both very good at looking for abuse and sometimes they feel like they deserve it
