Tongue-in-Cheek sucks

The plot is really tmd--hard--(it's rare to see such bluntness), and the lines are also torn down the east wall to make up the west wall, the shots are too trivial, and they don't have any enhancement effect on the plot theme, crappy claptrap.
It is said that the film nior has no edges and corners, and that King David spoiled his children. Catholics 500 years ago would be bored and nauseated; when it comes to suspense, after 10 minutes, you will know the result. The only thing that makes people suspenseful is Will the writers be bad enough to make Crawford the murderer?

However, the actors are still working hard to do this job well. Crawford's performance is average, but her eldest daughter's performance is very incisive and quite good. The other two actors, one from Orson wells and one from Ginger Rogers, have some bright spots.

Forcibly endured watching this film, I really regret it, but it is regarded as a guinea pig for everyone, and the merits are also limitless! (Hehe, comfort myself...) I
advise everyone not to be superstitious about high scores and waste precious time.

Great melodrama, but this plot is too badass!!! It can be stretched to a hard old Taiwanese-style melodrama that makes aunties cry to death. . .

8.5, adding family ethics drama style film noir, the use of mirrors and light is still the technique of conventional film noir, strong expressionist style and various alienated compositions, but in terms of character building and plot direction, it is indeed a typical melodrama form, which is quite integrated. Beneficial. Joan Crawford's acting skills are amazing, and the Oscar statuette is well deserved.

Veda Pierce: It's just as well you know. I'm glad you know.

Mildred Beragon: How long has this been going on?

  • Ida Corwin: I like Mexico. It's so... Mexican.
