what we lost

Rarely is the plot of a cartoon that can stay in my memory for so long, and I can remember every detail of it from the beginning.
Does Santa Claus really exist? Any child would be suspicious when playmates and family insisted that he was fictional. But the persistence of a young boy (voiced by Josh Hutcherson) has finally paid off. On Christmas Eve, he fell asleep in a trance, suddenly the floor began to tremble, the utensils on the table rattled, and with the whistle of the whistle, a mysterious train stopped in front of the door, he nervously opened the door and saw A gracious conductor (voiced by Tom Hanks) who invites him to travel by car to the North Pole for a Christmas celebration.

The little boy was very surprised, and he agreed nervously. After boarding the train, he found more friends. Everyone was happy together and experienced an unforgettable journey. The terminal station of the train finally arrived, the children jumped off the train cheerfully, the Christmas celebration in Arctic City officially started, and everyone was immersed in the joyful atmosphere. At this time, a Santa Claus walked up to the little boy and asked him kindly what present he needed. The little boy murmured that he only wanted a small bell on the reindeer. But when he got home, the little boy accidentally lost the bell, and he was very sad. Unexpectedly, when he woke up the next day, he found that the little bell was placed under the Christmas tree intact. The mother was very surprised when she saw it, but she thought the bell was broken. In fact, the little boy knows very well in his heart that only those who believe in Santa can hear the crisp sound of the little bell...

I like the setting of this plot, only those who believe can hear it

This is a movie that believes in dreams. I am really happy to see Santa’s reindeer take off at the end. Thank you. At the last moment, my 3D eyes can finally see.

Unexpectedly, the best-selling 3D scene movie was still good after the effect was greatly reduced, especially suitable for watching at Christmas. The song When Christmas comes to town is the highlight. In fact, it's good to keep a little childlike innocence.

The Polar Express quotes

  • Hobo: What exactly is... is your persuasion on the Big Man, since you brought him up?

The Boy: Well, I... I want to believe... but...

Hobo: But you don't want to be bamboozled. You don't want to be led down the primrose path! You don't want to be conned or duped. Have the wool pulled over your eyes. Hoodwinked! You don't want to be taken for a ride. Railroaded!

[Hobo puts out fire with the joe]

Hobo: Seeing is believing. Am I right?

  • The Conductor: [singing] Here we only got one rule / Never, ever let it cool / Keep it cooking in the pot / Soon we got hot chocolate!
