There have been 5 movies in the "Wild Hour" series so far. The first "The Fast and the Furious" was released in 2001, and it is ten years ago. Back then, the film was produced on a small book, but it produced an impressive box office and became popular with a new generation of big boy actor Vin Diesel. The second and third episodes of the movie experienced the blow of the box office decline. However, in 2009, the fourth episode of the original cast broke the US box office record for the series ($1.55 billion). "Fast 5" is a continuation of the previous, and for the time being, the box office is going well. It will be released on 5/1, and it has accumulated 860 million box office so far, and it will probably surpass the predecessor.
"Fast 5" didn't use the popular 3D method of shooting in recent years, and I have secretly liked it. I think that 3D movies have become a disaster nowadays. In many cases, the effect is not obvious, but higher prices are charged, which is very clumsy. Although "Crazy 5" is a continuation of the fourth episode, the story is new and does not have much impact on audiences who have not seen the previous movie series. The story takes place in Brazil, a South American country, and brings refreshing visual effects to the audience. The protagonists Brian (Paul Walker) and Dom (Vin Diesel) originally thought they were just carrying out a simple car theft mission, but got into trouble. On the one hand, they were hunted down by the Brazilian drug lord, and on the other hand, the US law enforcement agency led by Luke (Dwayne Johnson, also known as the Rock) wanted to arrest them (because they were wanted in the US). Brian and Dom took the risk in the face of the enemy on both sides, gathered all walks of life, and it was almost impossible to rob the drug lord's wealth.
Although "Crazy 5" is an action movie, there are not many action scenes, but the arrangement is fresh, and the effect and tension are very good, which deeply attracts the audience. It includes the scene of stealing a car on a moving train at the beginning, and then the two male protagonists fly off the cliff; fight with law enforcement officers and drug lords in a slum area; and are ambushed on the street to escape from the dead. Gunfight; two big boys (Vin Diesel and the Rock) devastating sparring, and the protagonist driving a sports car dragging a heavy giant clip Wan on the street and the enemy's speed chase, etc., all called observation and watching. In addition to the action scenes, director Justin Lin added the elements of family affection between Dom and his sister Mia, as well as the friendship between the players, and achieved a good balance between the literary and action parts, which made the movie more observable.
Although "Wild Speed 5" is still inseparable from the formula style of Hollywood commercial movies, the result is what everyone expected, but I think the film is a new idea. The film was shot in Brazil and brought an exotic atmosphere, and some of the action scenes are very fresh. This is an action movie that I am very satisfied with.
