Taste the floating clouds

The U.S. judicial system appears to be fair. Fairness lies in the fact that the prosecutor and the criminal suspect have equal opportunities, and the principle of never suspecting a crime often makes it difficult to convict. Especially when the suspect can hire a more sophisticated defense team than the prosecutor's lawyer, the prosecutor often does not hesitate to make deals with the suspect or even make false testimony in order to quickly close the case. This leaves a lot of room for suspects.

For a layman like me, in this film, I can understand the various criticisms of these fair judicial systems.

As far as the plot of the movie is concerned, the next few minutes can have different directions and show different themes. Of course, in order to meet the needs of most people, it is still necessary to arrange some happy ending insurance.

The problems and phenomena revealed by the film are just a few tastes, and after watching it, people are still unsatisfied. In addition to sighing, and comparing the recent hot social issues, I suddenly feel that the so-called injustice here is just a cloud.

Lawyer Lincoln punishes the good and eliminates the evil with his own view of right and wrong and morality, and the premise is that he can correctly judge the true and false of good and evil, and not be deceived by people with sinister intentions. Even the United States, which has a relatively sound legal society, likes to discuss the trade-off between law and morality and justice.

The Lincoln Lawyer quotes

  • Detective Kurlen: [to Haller in crowded elevator] How does someone like you sleep at night with all the scum you represent?

  • Mick Haller: Do you know the difference between a Maserati and a Range Rover?

Reggie Campo: One is small and one is big, I guess.
